ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਵੋ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਾਗ਼ ਬਾਗ਼ ਹੋਵੋ, ਹੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਿਲਖ ਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਟਣ ਵਾਲਿਓ! ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਘਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੱਛੇ ਵਾਂਙੁ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨ੍ਹ ਘੋੜੇ ਵਾਂਙੁ ਹਿਣਕੋ,

Because ye were glad, because ye rejoiced, O ye destroyers of mine heritage, because ye are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls;
