ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਲੱਭਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਤੂੰ ਨਾ ਲੱਭ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਵੇਖ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਸ਼ਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਲਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ। ਪਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਅਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੂੰ ਜਾਵੇਂਗਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਲੁੱਟ ਦਾ ਮਾਲ ਠਹਿਰਾਵਾਂਗਾ।।

And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek [them] not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest.
