ਮੈਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਪਰਾਲਭਦ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੱਭੇ ਵੱਢੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਝੁੱਕ ਜਾਓਗੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਪਰ ਤੁਸਾਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮੈਂ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਤੁਸਾਂ ਸੁਣੀ ਨਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਸੋ ਤੁਸਾਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ।।

Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose [that] wherein I delighted not.
