جیسے بھوکا آدمی خواب میں دیکھے کہ کھا رہا ہے پرجاگ اٹھے تو اسکا دل نہ بھرا ہو یا پیاسا آدمی خواب میں دیکھے کہ پانی پی رہا ہے پر جاگ اٹھے تو پیاس سے بیتاب ہو اور اسکی جان آسودہ نہ ہو ویسا ہی ان سب قوموں کے انبوہ کا حال ہو گا جو کوہ صیون سے جنگ کرتی ہیں۔

It shall even be as when an hungry [man] dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, [he is] faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.

But it will also be like a dream to those armies. They will not get what they want. It will be like a hungry man dreaming about food. When the man wakes up, he is still hungry. It will be like a thirsty man dreaming about water. When the man wakes up, he is still thirsty. The same thing is true about all the nations fighting against Zion. Those nations will not get what they want.
