ಆದಕಾರಣ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು --ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹೇಸಿಗೆಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಅಸಹ್ಯಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಅಪವಿತ್ರಪಡಿಸಿದ ಕಾರಣ ನಾನೂ ಸಹ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುಂದಿಸುವೆನು ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕನಿಕರಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಕಟಾಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

Wherefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish [thee;] neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
