હે યરૂશાલેમ, તારા વ્યભિચારની અશુદ્ધિ દૂર કરવા મેં પ્રયત્ન કર્યો હતો પણ તું ચોખ્ખી ન થઇ. એટલે તારા પર હું મારો પૂરો રોષ ઉતારી નહિ રહું ત્યાં સુધી તું ફરી ચોખ્ખી થનાર નથી.

In thy filthiness [is] lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee.
