ମୁ ଆପଣା ସବୋ ସମୟରେ ତହିଁରକ୍ସ୍ଟ କିଛି ଭୋଜନ କରି ନାହିଁ। କିଅବା ଅଶକ୍ସ୍ଟଚି ହାଇେ ତହିଁରକ୍ସ୍ଟ କିଛି ରଖିନାହିଁ। କିଅବା ମୃତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ଯ ରେ ତହିଁରକ୍ସ୍ଟ କିଛି ଦଇନୋହିଁ। ମୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ଯ ରେ ଧ୍ଯାନ ଦଇେଅଛି। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେତେ ଯାହା ଯାହା ଆଜ୍ଞା କଲ, ସେ ସବୁ ମୁ ପାଳନ କରିଛି।

I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away [ought] thereof for [any] unclean [use,] nor given [ought] thereof for the dead: [but] I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God, [and] have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.
