তোমাদের বেদীর ওপরের আগুনে তোমরা তোমাদের পুত্রদের অথবা কন্যাদের উত্সর্গ করবে না| কোন ভাববাদীর সঙ্গে কথা বলে অথবা কোন যাদুকর, কোন ডাইনি অথবা কোন মাযাবীর কাছে গিয়ে নিজেদের ভবিষ্যত্ জানার চেষ্টা করবে না|

There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

there is not found in thee one causing his son and his daughter to pass over into fire, a user of divinations, an observer of clouds, and an enchanter, and a sorcerer,

Don't sacrifice your sons or daughters in the fires on your altars. Don't try to learn what will happen in the future by talking to a fortuneteller or by going to a magician, a witch, or a sorcerer.
