ಈ ಮಾತು ಅರಸನ ಬಾಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಾಗಲೇ ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಶಬ್ದವು ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು; ಏನಂದರೆ--ಓ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆ ಚ್ಚರನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಯಿತು.

While the word [was] in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, [saying,] O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.
